McDonald's slashes prices on two menu favourites today - how to grab yours
It's good news for McDonald's fans as the fast food restaurant has slashed the price of two popular items this week – but there's a catch.
The price of the two items will be slashed for one day only, and you'll need to be quick.
The first item, the mouth-watering Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, is part of the chain's breakfast menu, which is only available until 11am every day.
The breakfast fan-favourite, which is made up of slices of American cheese and crispy bacon on a soft flatbread, will be available at a discounted price for today only, Monday May 15.
It usually costs £1.49 at McDonald's, but today you can snap it up for £1.19 between 5am and 10.59am.
Dr Michael Mosley shares exercise that can cut cholesterol and blood pressureIf you're not an early bird, don't worry, as you can still snap up a lunchtime or dinnertime discount.
After 11am, you'll be able to snap up the McCrispy for just £2.99 – which is a whopping 43% saving.
For those who haven't tried it, it's a 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating, served with lettuce, black pepper mayo and a sourdough-style sesame-topped bun. The Mirror tried it at the launch event last year – and we were massively impressed.
While you're at McDonald's, you might notice they have brand new items on the menu. The fast food giant has brought out the brand new Spicy Big Tasty, which is the classic burger we know and love, with a fiery kick.
The burger contains a 100% beef patty, topped with Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and their Big Tasty sauce with a jalapeno twist.
As of May 10 you can also get your hands on Halloumi Fries, as well as two new dipping sauces – the Mega Hot Sauce and Garlic Mayo. These will be followed by Chipotle Mayo and Creamy Ranch on May 31.
Finishing off the new menu are two new McFlurry flavours – the Wispa McFlurry, and the Wispa Gold McFlurry.
Last week The Mirror team gave its opinions on the new menu – and while there was no denying we enjoyed the delicious feast, we felt somewhat conflicted about the Spicy Big Tasty.
