My 600-lbs Life star Melissa sobs as she reflects on giving up the job she loved

Melissa D Morris was overcome with emotion as she opened up about her old place of work and immediately realised she had become a thing of the past.

The star of My 600-lb Life admitted she shed a tear when she returned to the office she used to call home. However, she revealed she is in a good place in her life and is now "embracing the change".

Taking to Instagram, she shared a number of images of the office space with her followers. She captioned the post: "Three years ago I was hire at this job and I Loved it! I wasn’t working there long till I knew I want to work my way up to that third floor. It took three years hard work but I made it to the third floor."

She continued her emotional statement, saying: "Today I walked out of the building not as a full time employee but and I cried.

"I am happy for new adventures ahead but I realize I will not have a place in the office. No desk with MY COMPUTER on it, no place to call my own."

And she positively finished: "So this is to embracing change! Thank you Job for allowing me to learn, grow, move up, and stay on!"

Melissa has regularly shared her life's adventures, both on the hit reality TV show and her social media, and recently revealed she had struggled to become a mum after her weight soared to 692lb (49.4 stone).

She openly admits to struggling with a food addiction and overeating, but she went on to lose an impressive 157 pounds over seven years to realise her dreams of motherhood.

Her journey began after meeting with TLC star Dr Nowzaradan who helped her to achieve her weight loss goals and qualify for life-changing gastric surgery.

Since the transformation she has had three children and once again battled to lose weight after gaining over 100 pounds after baby number two.

Melissa has since been keeping up with her weight loss and often takes to Instagram to share updates with fans.

In one full body snap in recent months, the reality TV star looked amazing as she flaunted her slimmed down figure in a navy dress with a white floral pattern.
