Christine Lampard gave ITV viewers an insight into her Valentine’s Day plans this evening as she stepped in to host Lorraine on Tuesday morning.

The TV presenter was standing in for host Lorraine Kelly during half term and spoke with entertainment reporter Ross King about the romantic plans celebrities have put in place for the big day.

Speaking from Los Angeles, Ross then asked Christine what she had in store for Valentine’s Day with husband Frank Lampard , who she married in December 2015

Christine said: “We have absolutely nothing planned if I'm being completely honest,” leaving Ross in stitches.

She then quickly added: “But, look, it’s early in the morning. I might go back, he might have a little surprise for me. Who knows? Possibly.”

Ross then joked: “I’m sure there will be something. Full 90 minutes. Maybe extra time, if you’re lucky.”

Christine and Frank met at the Pride of Britain Awards 13 years ago in 2009 when the Northern Irish host was the presenter of The One Show.

Christine married Frank at St Paul’s church in London’s Knightsbridge, at a ceremony attended by their personal Cupid, Piers Morgan, and a host of famous guests.

She remembers her dad playing with Ed Sheeran when another special guest grabbed the mic – Frank’s cousin Jamie Redknapp.

The TV presenter shares Patricia and Frederick with the former footballer and is step-mum to Luna and Isla, who Frank shares with ex-wife Elen Rives.

It comes after Everton sacked Frank as manager of the club, after he had been in the job for less than a year.

The former Chelsea boss was appointed at Goodison Park at the end of January 2022, and although he helped the club avoid the drop last season, he leaves Everton now in a relegation battle.

In a statement, the Merseyside club said: "Everyone at Everton would like to thank Frank and his coaching staff for their service during what has been a challenging 12 months.

"Frank and his team's commitment and dedication have been exemplary throughout their time at the club, but recent results and the current league position meant this difficult decision had to be taken. We wish Frank and all his backroom team well for their future in the game.

"The club has started the process to secure a new manager and will provide updates on the appointment in due course."
