Strictly pro dancer Dianne Buswell will be showing fans a different skill as she's reportedly signed up to Celebrity MasterChef.

Strictly favourites who have taken part in the BBC1 cookery show in the past include Johannes Radebe, AJ Pritchard, Katya Jones and Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse.

Dianne, 33, who was partnered with DJ Tyler West in the most recent Strictly season, has previously described herself as a "foodie", with a strong love of food in her family.

Celebrity MasterChef, which sees famous faces cook delicious meals for judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode, could therefore be the perfect show for her.

A source told The Sun : “Strictly stars always seem to be popular with MasterChef producers, not to mention the viewers at home.

“That is why almost every year they select a famous face from within the show’s ranks of pros. And they always seem to do rather well.

“Although their dance skills don’t help them much in the kitchen, their natural competitiveness does give them the edge over many of the other celeb cooks.”

Speaking to the Independent, Dianne shared that her Italian mum inspired her love for cooking.

She said: "I’ve grown up learning to cook from her. I’ve always been quite a foodie – I’ve got two older brothers, my dad loves food, and we all love food in my family.

"I do really enjoy cooking and I’m always really interested in the Mediterranean diet."

Dianne told the paper she doesn't eat chicken or red meat but does eat fish and one of her favourite meals is ratatouille.

The dancer's reported TV signing comes after she and boyfriend Joe Sugg were seen together for the first time in months after split rumours.

The loved-up couple, who have been together since 2018 and met on Strictly, were spotted together after Dianne's performance in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour earlier this month.

The pair were beaming as they enjoyed a drink at their hotel after the show.

Joe looked uber cool in a leather jacket, black trousers and a brown turtle neck jumper, while Dianne wore a plunging black jumpsuit, grey boots and a matching leather jacket.

Their evening outing is the first time the couple have been seen together in weeks.

They sparked split rumours with their adoring fans when Dianne flew out to her native Australia alone over Christmas.

Some followers were worried that they had gone separate ways, but others suggested they might just be spending the festive period with separate families.

Dianne herself has tried to extinguish rumours of a split by sharing a screenshot of herself and Joe beaming at each other over video call.

Their romantic outing seems to have squashed rumours that they had ended their relationship as they looked happier than ever celebrating another successful Strictly live show.

Dianne and the BBC have been approached by the Mirror over the MasterChef reports.
