Jamie Foxx still in hospital after medical emergency as family ask for prayers
Jamie Foxx's family have asked for prayers as he is still in hospital three weeks after a medical emergency.
The actor has been in hospital since April 11 after a "serious medical complication", according to a source.
The 55-year-old actor is said to have needed immediate medical attention after being taken to hospital while he was in Atlanta filming his upcoming Netflix movie Back in Action.
Jamie's close friend Charles Alston has taken to Instagram to ask for prayers for the actor.
In post, Charles asked everyone to keep Jamie in their thoughts and prayers and said: "We need you back Bro. As I always state a true champion isn't the one that wins, it's the one that meets & overcomes adversity!! You're test becomes your testimony!!"

A source has said it was "touch and go" at first following the medical condition.
"Jamie suffered a serious medical episode and needed immediate attention. It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived — he is very lucky to be alive!"
The source also explained how doctors likely saved his life.

"Doctors believe this was a long time coming, and really, if they hadn't acted fast, Jamie might well have been a goner," the source told radaronline.
Jamie is is said to be well on the road to recovery and has been surrounded by his family during his health crisis.
His daughter, Corinne previously took to Instagram to update fans on her father's condition.

It has been said there has been "changes in production" on the set of Back in Action following Jamie's hospitalisation.
