Jamie Oliver's plans to get a vasectomy scuppered by his own wife
Jamie Oliver claims his plans to undergo a vasectomy were cancelled by his own wife after she learned he was planning to have the snip.
The 47-year-old TV chef is well known for having a large family - sharing five children with his 48-year-old wife, Jools., who he has been married to since 2000.
Together, they have daughters Poppy, 21, Daisy Boo, 20, and 14-year-old Petal Blossom, and sons Buddy Bear, 12, and six-year-old River Rocket.
And while Jamie might think that is enough children for him to bring into the world, it appears his wife might have other plans.
Discussing a recent vasectomy appointment, Jamie confessed to the Daily Star: “She made me cancel there and then, live. I’m like, ‘I’m so sorry, Mr Surgeon.’

“He actually did say that. But I do need to be done.”
Back in 2012, Jamie complained that he wanted more date nights with his wife, rather than children - and that was back when he had just four kids.

“I sort of feel like we are just out of nappies now and I have got four kids and it’s more than enough.
“It’s quite hard to have time for each other when you have four kids so I don’t want another excuse for me and Jools not to have time together.
“I am looking forward to taking her out again. We try to have date nights, but we aren’t very good at it.”
Meanwhile, Jamie and Jools recently marked their 23rd wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in a ceremony in the Maldives - attended by their five children.

He added: "It was really special, funny and romantic with the words in the ceremony making more sense having come this far together.
"It seems like a blink since the first wedding which we kept very privet apart from the paparazzi at the village church we thought it would be a happy and joyful moment to share with you all this Easter.
