Love Island viewers were heaping praise on new host Maya Jama as she unveiled a fresh look on the ITV2 spin-off Aftersun.

The 28-year-old was in the ITV studio with superfans Mae Muller, Sam Thompson and former contestant Indiyah Polack, as they dissected all the latest Love Island gossip.

As Maya introduced the show on Sunday evening following the unveiling of the Casa Amor bombshells, she debuted a new fringe with long pin-straight locks.

Love Island viewers described Maya as a ‘goddess’ as she donned a figure hugging off-the-shoulder white dress.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Maya slaying the bangssss,” as a second wrote: “Maya is giving goddess today!”

Love Island has already unveiled all the bombshells who entered Casa Amor at the end of the Sunday night episode, with six more girls set to walk into the main ITV2 villa this week.

The spin-off villa is set to rock the couples, as fresh and fragile relationships are put to the test with a series of new bombshells.

The 12 contestants, with six boys and six girls, have been confirmed after they touched down in South Africa to shake up the show and turn heads.

This year’s Casa Amor line-up ranges from a sexy female baker from north London to a steel erector from Nottingham who is “repping for the gingers”.

An Irish lothario who is good pals with Love Island 2022 contestant Dami Hope will also join the 2023 cast.

And one new girl has a famous ex in English singer Conor Maynard, who has penned more than one song about her since they split.

A professional boxer, social worker, finance student and a beauty buyer who lives in Dubai also make up this year’s cast.

However one couple – and one Islander in particular – finally looks like he's learnt his lesson, with Ron Hall odds on at 10/11 to still be with Lana Jenkins when the two groups reunite, after their on-off relationship over the last few weeks.

Elsewhere, Will and Jessie are unsurprisingly the most likely couple to stay together at 1/2, while Kai and Olivia are the least likely at 3/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Everyone will be tuning in for this year's Casa Amor antics, and while viewers are no doubt praying for Andrew and Coco-esque antics, the odds suggest Ron has very much learnt his lesson and will be keeping himself to himself."

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
