BBC favourite The Graham Norton Show has been taken off air in a new schedule shake-up.

The talk show, which sees host Graham sit down with the world's biggest celebrities, usually airs on Fridays on BBC One at 10.40pm.

Starting on May 12, The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show will replace the late-night show.

The Graham Norton Show always goes off the air during the summer for a break before returning in the autumn.

Graham's last show was on February 24, featuring Dame Helen Mirren, Pedro Pascal, Ariana DeBose and Freya Ridings.

The new two weeks were compilation episodes.

Viewers need not worry about their celebrity fix as The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show has the couple invite other famous couples to join them each week.

Chris and Rosie - who also host Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed - follow the same theme as their podcast and enjoy candid chats with the stars.

Previous guests include Tom and Giovanna Fletcher, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo and Martin and Shirley Kemp.

At the end of last year, it was revealed that Chris and Rosie earned £2million in only one year.

Thanks to their TV and touring projects, they pulled in £1.67 million for the year ending November 2021.

This was up from £763,000 the previous financial year.

Meanwhile, Graham will be having a busy few months as he prepares for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The presenter will continue his usual commentating role but will also be hosting the show alongside Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Julia Sanina.

"I know that’s really greedy of me, but I just thought if I let someone else do the commentating they could be better than me and then I’ve lost my favourite job," he said on The One Show.

"So I thought, 'No, I’m ring-fencing that'. I’ll have to go, 'Welcome to Eurovision', then I’ll run back into my little rabbit hutch."

At least he'll have former Great British Bake Off presenter Mel Giedroyc by his side.
