Another week of LIV Golf means another week of mega-money prize money on offer, as the Saudi-funded series makes its way to Singapore with £21 million ($25m) up for grabs.

LIV enjoyed arguably its most succesful event to date last week, after the breakaway circuit lived up to its 'golf, but louder' slogan on its first trip to Australia. LIV Adelaide proved to be a hit with local fans, as a sell-out crowd flocked into The Grange across the three days.

Amongst the rowdy crowd and pint throwing, American star Talor Gooch was the man who came away with victory, as two opening rounds of 62 helped him shoot 19-under across his three rounds to win by three shots.

In the team event, Dustin Johnson's 4Aces secured their first victory of the season having dominated LIV's maiden campaign in 2022. Despite Gooch and Johnson and co coming away from The Grange with a trophy in hand, Aussie star Cameron Smith was undoubtably the fan favourite.

Smith has been labelled as one of the big reasons for LIV's impressive support in Adelaide, with the Open champion Australia's hottest golfer. The 29-year-old has put Australian golf back on the map in recent years, and despite his controversial move to LIV, has kept hold of his backing.

The crowds followed Smith in their hundreds across the course throughout the event, as it proved to be a special week for the former world No. 2. Speaking about his support, Smith said: "Yeah, it was a pretty epic day. It was incredible every hole, the support, the support going on to the tee, off the green.

“To be honest, it was pretty tiring. It's nice to have a lot of people that are kind of riding you, but it's also pretty stressful. You want to hit a good shot all the time. I guess it's not kind of as free flowing as what it typically is, but it was a pretty epic day.

“I saw a lot of mullet shirts today. That was good fun. I got like a "Cameron" on the 12th hole, the boys - like Happy, Happy Gilmore. So that was also pretty funny.” There is no time for an Adelaide hangover though, with Smith and co now over in Singapore for their second event in the space of the week.

Ahead of the fifth tournament of the rebel circuit's 2023 season at the Sentosa Club, here is a look at the lucrative prize money on offer.
