Dawn French shares rare photo of husband on wedding day as she marks milestone
British comedy legend Dawn French has shared a rare photo of her husband Mark Bignell on their wedding day to mark 10 years of marriage.
Dawn, 65, got together with Mark, who she describes as a 'very cheerful man', three years after splitting from first husband Lenny Henry.
The couple reportedly dated for a year before tying the knot in an intimate ceremony held in the pretty coastal town of Newquay in Cornwall where they live.
Dawn tied the knot with Lenny back in 1984 but the pair called time on their marriage in 2010 and Dawn has opened up before about how she struggled with the divorce.
In an interview in 2017 with the Mirror, Dawn said that the split left her 'broken'.

She said: "I have seen what happens if you stay broken. When I was single, I found my new self. But I think it is OK to grieve over a relationship."
Dawn French has given fans a rare glimpse of her husband Mark and their wedding daySharing the post with her 625,000 Instagram followers, she wrote in the caption: “10 years married = tin.
“So today I received a tin. Full of hearts,” along with the hashtag keeper.
The post, which shows the tin and its contents and a blurry snap of the happy couple on their wedding day quickly racked up thousands of ‘likes’ and comments.
Lots of her famous friends replied, with fellow divorcee Davina McCall leaving a string of hearts and reiterating the sentiment that Mark is a keeper.

In the wedding photo Dawn can be seen beaming in a V-neck white dress as she holds hands with Mark, who is dressed in a smart suit.
Following her divorce from Lenny, it seemed as though Dawn didn't like the idea of dating, describing the process as 'excruciating' as she isn't an 'accomplished flirter'.

Dawn was married to comedian Lenny Henry but they divorced in 2010 (Press Association)Meanwhile, Lenny and Dawn have still remained friends despite their divorce.
Speaking in an interview she said she is 'amazed' at their friendship and how they managed to change from a 25 year marriage to a lasting friendship.
Lenny revealed that when they split there is usually someone in the marriage that wants to break up more than the other.
He said: "I think maybe one of us did, then the other one did, and then the other did over a period of time and then, in the end, we thought, ‘Oh, actually maybe we both do’."
