'Struck' Prince William sends personal message to Lorraine over Deborah campaign
Prince William has been left "really struck" by Lorraine Kelly's No Butts campaign in memory of Dame Deborah James.
The Prince of Wales, 40, shared a personal video message to TV presenter Lorraine, 63, to thank her and her staff for helping raise awareness of bowel cancer.
No Butts urges viewers to take note of the signs and symptoms of the disease. The show is running the campaign for a third year in a row and Lorraine has previously run the initiative alongside the late Dame Deborah James who died in June last year following a battle with the disease.
Last year Prince William visited Deborah's home to present her with her Damehood and the pair enjoyed a champagne afternoon tea.
The Prince also followed the journey of Bowel Babe, Dame Deborah James, closely.

Following his connection with Dame Deborah, a royal source told the Mirror William felt "really struck" by Lorraine's latest campaign and wanted to send her a personal message.

The video, shared on Lorraine's show and the Prince and Princess of Wales' joint Twitter page, sees William talking to the camera.
He says in the clip: "Hi Lorraine, I just want to say a big thank you to you and your team for all you’re doing to raise awareness around bowel cancer through your No Butts campaign.

Lorraine previously ran the campaign with Dame Deborah, who died last year (BBC/Zinc Media/@Bowelbabe)"As you know I got to meet Dame Deborah, so I know how important this was to her. 46,000 people each year get diagnosed with bowel cancer and yet many of us don’t know the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, particularly in us men.
"So if you’re watching this, please take a second to listen and learn about the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, it could save your life."
As the Prince posted the video on his Twitter page, he added another message to Lorraine which read: "[wave emoji] @lorraine. Dame Deborah James would be so proud of what you and the team are doing to raise awareness of bowel cancer. Keep up the great work #NoButts @bowelbabe @BowelbabeF".

Deborah wrote: "Prince William actually came to our family house today!!
"I am utterly honoured that he joined us for afternoon tea and champagne, where he not only spent a generous amount of time talking to my whole family but also honoured me with my Damehood.

"It’s quite surreal having a royal pop in at home, and yes you can imagine the cleaning antics and preparation went off the scale - but it was all irrelevant because William was so kind and he put us all at ease.
"He is clearly passionate about improving oncology outcomes as the President of the Royal Marsden. It was such a special day for my whole family, making memories to last a life time. He’s welcome back any time!"
