Nick is set to continue his role on News Center 7 Daybreak wherever possible during his treatment process and plans to give regular updates to his fans and viewers.

He continued: "I don’t plan on going anywhere and want my story to perhaps be a reminder to others to listen to their bodies and seek care immediately if something is not right."

According to Mayo Clinic, symptoms to be wary of for Myeloma include bone pain, specifically in the spine or chest area.

Others include, nausea, constipation, mental fogginess or confusion and fatigue. Frequent infections, weight loss and weakness or numbness in the legs could also indicate an issue, as can excessive thirst and a loss of appetite.
