Klopp immediately corrects Carragher suggestion after Liverpool win at Leeds
Jurgen Klopp was quick to correct Jamie Carragher over his claim that Leeds made plenty of individual errors during Liverpool's 6-1 win.
The Reds legend was analysing the game on Sky Sports when he insisted that Javi Gracia's side were to blame for much of Liverpool's success at Elland Road on Monday night. After the game, Klopp discussed the performance with Carragher, where he took his chance to point out how he disagreed with his assessment as he believed his side deserved more credit for forcing Leeds' problems.
"I think it was the best game we’ve played this season from all different perspectives - aspects of the game, controlling the game," the Liverpool boss explained. "Jamie [Carragher] I just heard spoke about individual errors from Leeds, yes, but I think we forced a lot of them."
Liverpool were at their brilliant best for much of the game at Elland Road, with four second-half goals making it crystal clear just how much dominance the Reds enjoyed. Klopp's side went into the interval boasting a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, separated by just three minutes.
The opening exchanges of the second-half would have been a cause for concern for Klopp, as an error from Ibrahimo Konate allowed Luis Sinisterra to halve Liverpool's advantage and hand the Elland Road faithful some hope. It was hope that was soon quashed by the brilliance of the visitors.

The Egyptian made more history in the process, as Salah now boasts the record for the most amount of left-footed goals scored. His goal was aided by some neat play from Gakpo in the build-up.
Less than 10 minutes later and Jota had a brace of his own. The Portugal international fired home with a delightful half-volley from the edge of the penalty area, beyond the despairing dive of Illan Meslier between the sticks for the hosts.
Remarkably, Liverpool still weren't done there. Having introduced Darwin Nunez off the bench late on, it wasn't long before the former Benfica forward got in on the act.
The Reds' marquee summer signing brought down a lofted pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold in impressive fashion before keeping his composure to add a sixth for Liverpool.
From Leeds perspective, Carragher was brutal in his assessment of their shortcomings, adding: "This Leeds team, they’ve had three different managers in a short space of time and they still look like that they are this season, those goals tonight mean they are the worst team defensively in terms of goals conceded this season."
