Keanu Reeves put on a loved-up display with his girlfriend Alexandra Grant over the weekend as they shared a passionate kiss on the red carpet.

The pair stepped out to celebrate the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday and locked lips in front of the waiting cameras.

In the snaps, Alexandra affectionately wrapped her arm around Keanu before they both leant in for a smooch.

Keanu is notoriously private about his love life and kept his romance with Alexandra a secret before they eventually made their debut in 2019.

The pair had actually been friends for a few years and worked together on a number of projects before becoming romantically involved.

Alexandra and Keanu first met at a dinner party all the way back in 2009.

While a romantic connection didn't blossom straight away, a business relationship did develop.

In 2011, Alexandra illustrated Keanu's book Ode to Happiness as well as his 2016 book Shadows. The couple also co-own X Artists Books, which they founded in 2017.

It wasn't until 2019 that the news broke of their romance, but a source hinted at the time that they had actually "been dating for years".

After making their red carpet debut four years ago, Alexandra said everyone she knew called her to get more information about their romance.

Keanu recently gave his fans an insight into the couple's romance when he was asked to name his "last moment of bliss".

He told People : "A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together."

A source close to the couple previously said they were "head over heels for each other".

Speaking to US Weekly, they added: "They fit together perfectly, and he really fawns over her when they're together."

Another insider told the publication: "They're soulmates and totally committed to the long term, and after all this time together it just keeps getting sweeter."
