Big Brother star Sam Brodie faces accusations he went on a chauffeur-driven shopping spree around London then refused to settle the whopping limo bill.

It is claimed the reality TV star failed to pay after he racked-up a £4,000 bill having hiring a luxury car to be whisked around designer shops and plush hotels.

Sam, who has nearly 250,000 followers on Instagram, indulged in a five-star splurge which saw him eating in Mayfair before shopping in Harrods and Selfridges.

The DailyRecord report that he also requested two bodyguards to shadow him on the trip in December.

The 36-year-old – who appeared on Big Brother 7 in 2006 as a woman but has since returned to a male identity – is being pursued in the courts, it has been claimed.

A source said: “He contacted the firm, asking for a chauffeur, a top of the range car and a bodyguard.

“He said he was an actor and had been on Big Brother, claiming he was a member of the Indonesian Royal Family and went by the name Sir Sammy.

"He said he had homes in Chelsea and Kensington but that he wanted to spend the night in a hotel.

“He paid a four-figure deposit to the firm so they believed he was genuine. But after splurging a fortune all across the city and heading back to Scotland, he failed to settle the bill and now the company has gone after him.”

Mirror Online have contracted Sam directly for comment.

The firm is pursuing Brodie in the English and Scottish courts over the bill.

The source added: “A County Court Judgment has been applied for in the English courts, as they try to get their £4,000 back.

“They have also raised an action in the Scottish courts which will proceed at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.

“He went out and scattered money all over Mayfair, living the most lavish few days, then failing to pay what he owed. It’s disgusting.

“One of the bodyguards he had was an ex-Army officer, who shadowed him, making sure everything was safe for him as he was apparently an extremely important royal.

“A weekend of extravagance that he didn’t pay properly for.

“Letters were sent to the address he gave in Scotland but were ignored even though they were signed for.

“Going down the court route was the last thing the company wanted to do but he didn’t leave them with much choice.

Tom Richmond, managing director of Security and Safety Solutions which provided the limo and bodyguards, said: “We have initiated court proceedings to recover the debt. It would be inappropriate to comment further.”
