Ex-Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood interviewed under caution about alleged sex offences
Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood has been interviewed under caution this year over five alleged sex offences which span 36 years.
In a new development, Westwood, 65, was questioned by the Met Police on March 15 and more recently on April 4.
The alleged offences are said to have been committed between 1982 and 2016, in London.
Last year Westwood denied "all allegations of wrongdoing", after he was accused of sexual misconduct against women.
The Mirror has contacted Westwood's representatives for comment regarding today's development.

Later, allegations from another 10 women were reported.
Then, In a statement in August, which did not name the DJ, police said they are investigating a number of sexual offences which date back to 1982.
A statement from the Metropolitan Police, which did not name the DJ, read: "Detectives from the Met’s Central Specialist Crime continue to investigate four reports relating to allegations of non-recent sexual offences allegedly committed by a man.
"The offences are alleged to have occurred in London in 1982, 1985, 2010 and 2016."
Westwood, who left the BBC in 2013 after nearly two decades, stepped down from his show on Capital Xtra after the initial claims came to light.
In July, the BBC said it had received six complaints against Westwood, including one that was referred to police, despite director-general Tim Davie previously saying he had seen "no evidence of complaints".
In August, barrister Gemma White was appointed by the BBC Board in August to lead an independent review after an internal investigation found the corporation should have further explored issues raised at the time.
In November, a call for evidence about what was known about Westwood’s conduct during his time at the BBC was extended in a bid to encourage more people to come forward.
Westwood began his career on local radio before joining Capital Radio in London.

He left Radio 1 and Radio 1Xtra in 2013 after nearly 20 years and returned to Capital Xtra to host a regular show on Saturday nights, where he was referred to as “The Big Dawg”.
The Met Police told the Mirror today: "Police are investigating five reports relating to allegations of non-recent sexual offences allegedly committed by a man.
"The offences are alleged to have occurred in London between 1982 and 2016.
"A 65-year-old man was interviewed under caution on March 15, 2023, and April 4, 2023."
There has been no arrest.
A statement from a representative of Westwood said last April: "Tim Westwood strongly denies all allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
"In a career that has spanned 40 years, there have never been any complaints made against him officially or unofficially.
"Tim Westwood strongly rejects all allegations of wrongdoing."
