BBC reuploads Sabrina Carpenter's 'rude' Live Lounge amid fan speculation
For many artists, Radio 1's Live Lounge is a chance to showcase their vocal talent and sing songs by other musicians who they admire but might not be their usual style.
American pop star and actress Sabrina Carpenter recently performed a cover of Harry Styles ' song Late Night Talking as well as her own song Nonsense in a stripped back version.
The Live Lounge performance was then cut from the website and the show's YouTube channel without any explanation from the singer or Radio 1.
Fans spotted the full video of her performance had been taken down and have suggested her risqué outro to the song may have been cause for removal.

Sabrina's entire Live Lounge session was removed from the BBC's platforms before it got reinstated (BBC)On February 23, the singer made her debut performance on the popular Radio 1 segment singing a version of Late Night Talking which impressed listeners - with many fans asking for the version to be uploaded to music streaming services like Spotify.
Sabrina posted a clip of herself performing the Harry Styles song to her Instagram while the BBC uploaded various clips to Twitter to promote her appearance on the show, urging fans to listen to the set.
However, fans noticed when a version was uploaded to iPlayer and YouTube, Sabrina's ad-libs for her own song Nonsense were cut out completely.
At the end of the hit song, the 23-year-old sings some 'nonsense' which she improvises each time, changing the lyrics to fit the event or setting.
The studio recorded version ends: "How quickly can you take your clothes off, pop quiz" before the singer adds her own twist to the live versions.
On the Live Lounge she sang: " I'm American I am not British/ So BBC it stands for something different/This live lounge is just so lit because I'm in it" and added in a British accent: "innit? because I'm in it, you get it?"
The BBC removed the entire session from their website, despite posting it initially without the cheeky outro. Fans have shared the original version online, speculating that the "rude" lyrics about the meaning of BBC may have caused it to be deleted.
One TikToker claimed: "The outro was so offensive to some people that the video has actually been removed." Another suggested the video had gotten "backlash".
A fan pointed out that they hadn't "seen anyone complain" about the lyrics while others thought the outro was "so funny". One said: "This is just Sabrina's humor [sic], she wasn't trying to offend anyone and any culture."
The 23-year-old recently performed her hit song at the Grammy awards with the outro: "Usually I would say something nasty/ but I'ma keep it classy for the Grammys".

Some fans pointed out that her outros are well documented as being "out there" so the BBC could have asked her to sing a different song or prepare a less "offensive" outro before allowing her to perform.
A BBC spokesperson told The Mirror: "An unedited version of the video was briefly posted in error, and the correct version is now available for viewers to enjoy."
The Live Lounge session with Sabrina Carpenter has been reuploaded - without the 'controversial' outro.
