Emmerdale's Charley Webb forced to close down dream business after leaving soap

Former Emmerdale actress Charley Webb has been been forced to close down her 'dream business' just two years after leaving the ITV soap.

The soap star, 34, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the shock news as she explained that she simply can't find the time in her busy schedule to run her dream company the way she sees fit.

Charley, who played Debbie Dingle on Emmerdale, has been busy selling a range of Scandinavian-inspired handcrafted toys online, but the actress has had to put a halt to it, given her lack of time dedicated to the company.

Taking to Instagram to announce the sad news, the soap favourite penned: "@nordi_babi is closing.

"I’ve loved this chapter and the journey it’s taken us on but we just don’t have the time to run it the way we want to.

"This is always my most asked question but I've never answered it before because I've never wanted to make a big deal of it," Charley said at the time.

"I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it's been a year. I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn't."
