Gemma Collins has shared the sensational moment she caused major damage to a £130,000 Lamborghini.

Former TOWIE star Gemma, 42, was filming in Marbella for her reality TV show when the incident occurred, but the shocking moment never made it to our TV screens and remains unaired.

The GC - who recently opened up about her scary hospital visit - shared a throwback snap of the saga with her 2.2million Instagram followers late on Tuesday night.

In the picture, Gemma can be seen sporting a long cream and yellow floral-print khaftan with her blonde hair over her shoulders as she speaks to a producer.

A black Lamborghini is parked up behind the star, gleaming in the sun and in perfect condition at the time the snap was taken.

"A few minutes after this scene I did 12k damage to the car," Gemma began in her caption on Instagram.

She added: "@garylukemc I think you was saying be careful with the car the scenes you don’t see he he."

Gemma's fans loved the anecdote shared to Instagram and quickly flood the star with comments and replies.

"They need to have you on Camera PERMANENTLY," one declared underneath the post, with another adding: "Never fail to crack me up. Classic GC antics; I love it."

A third quipped: "I f***ing love her!!!!!"

Another pointed out the scene in Marbella resembled something from HBO hit series The White Lotus, joking: "This episode of @thewhitelotus is my favorite."

"Bring back Diva Forever," one of Gemma's followers begged, referring to her popular ITV reality TV series.

Back in 2020, filming for Diva Forever was suspended amid the Covid-19 pandemic and global lockdowns.

Gemma became a household name when she appeared on the second series of The Only Way is Essex back in 2011 and is undoubtedly one of the biggest success stories to come from the show.

But The GC has no plans to ever return to the series that launched her impressive career.

She told the Daily Star Sunday in 2011: "I love The Only Way Is Essex. I wish them all well, but no, I won’t do it again, I’ve moved on.

"Honey, I’ve got Valentino dressing me now. Do they really need to see me back down Brentwood High Street?"

Since first gracing our TV screens over a decade ago Gemma has become a millionaire thanks to a series of savvy business moves and lucrative partnerships.

"People underestimated me […] I wasn’t the prettiest or the slimmest, yet I’d say I’m the most successful woman to come out of the show, and I’m not done yet," Gemma previously declared when discussing her work ethic.

"When a lot of them were partying and lying on their sun loungers, I was building my career. We were all given the same opportunity and you’ve got to make the most of it."
