Pornstar Stormy Daniels poked fun at former President Donald Trump on the day he was arraigned in court.

Real name Stephanie Gregory Clifford, she released a graphic tweet the Mirror cannot publish in full.

She added later in the tweet: "It's definitely more fun being under my sexy man instead of under arrest."

Mr Trump is alleged to have had an affair with her in 2006 when she was 27 in a hotel after a golf tournament.

Today, Mr Trump pleaded not guilty to "34 counts of falsifying business records and conspiracy for his alleged role in hush money payments to two women toward the end of his 2016 presidential campaign."

Mr Trump left Trump Tower for the district attorney's office, which is in the same court building, where he was booked and had his fingerprints taken.

Mr Trump walked into the court building, along with his legal team, where the charges were read out.

His details were taken and he was warned by the Judge Juan Merchan over the use of his language on social media after one post was described as "highly partisan."

Trump pleaded not guilty to all charges after his indictment charges were unsealed by the judge.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a statement after the court hearing: "The People of the State of New York allege that Donald J. Trump repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal crimes that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election.

"Manhattan is home to the country’s most significant business market. We cannot allow New York businesses to manipulate their records to cover up criminal conduct.

"As the Statement of Facts describes, the trail of money and lies exposes a pattern that, the People allege, violates one of New York’s basic and fundamental business laws."

The charges against the former president are all Class E felonies, which is the lowest category of felony offence in New York and carries a maximum prison sentence of four years per count.

The former president is flying back to his home in Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, in Florida where he is expected to make a statement at around 8.15pm local time (1.15am UK time).

Mr Trump had wanted to comment outside the courtroom but his lawyers wanted to check his speech to ensure it was legally sound.

Instead his lawyers will go over the 34 charges and then clear Trump's speech which he aims to give to his supporters later tonight.

Mr Trump is due to appear back in court on December 4.
