Barbie movie full cast announced as Dua Lipa to star alongside Will Ferrell
The Barbie movie is eagerly anticipated by fans of the famous doll - and they now know the full line-up of stars included.
While it was already known the likes of Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie were set to play the main characters of Ken and Barbie, but fans were stunned to find out Dua Lipa is also making her acting debut in the flick.
The singer, 27, told fans: "This Barbie is a mermaid," as she posed in a sparkly blue bikini top with luscious blue locks.
It's reported that Dua Lipa will also record the them song for the live-action film. While it was on the whole accepted and welcomed by fans, some were critical that Aqua's 1997 hit Barbie Girl didn't get the nod.
Among the other surprise inclusions in the star-studded line-up is funny man Will Ferrell who takes on the role of the insensitive Mattel CEO, and Derry Girls and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan.
'I started my business with £50 at uni - now it's a multi-million pound empire'Michael Cera also plays a part in the production, which is set for release on July 21, as does Sex Education's Emma Mackey and Dame Helen Mirren.

The movie's storyline has largely been kept under wraps, but the IMDb notes claim the plot follows "a doll living in Barbieland".
It says the character is expelled for not being perfect enough and sets off on an adventure in the real world.
Following the huge cast announcement fans flocked to social media to share their excitement.
