Robson Green exposes bombshell friendship with mega pop star at football match
has unveiled his shocking friendship with a huge international pop star.
The telly star left fans doing a double-take after he snapped a selfie at Newcastle United football match against Manchester United on Sunday.
Robson was seen celebrating as the Toons defeated their fellow top-four hopefuls 2-0.
But a closer look at the snaps of the 58-year-old cheering on his beloved side reveal he was hanging out with a musical icon at the match.
The actor was rubbing shoulders with none other than superstar Sam Fender.

The 28-year-old, from North Shields, is a life-long supporter of Newcastle United and was stood alongside Robson as they punched the air and hooted with the crowd on the weekend.

Sam Fender will be returning to Newcastle United's stadium again later this year as he'll headline a huge homecoming show.
Magpies fan Sam will be the first local to headline St James' Park when he plays to 55,000 people on June 9.
The celebrations with new pal Sam came just weeks after Robson admitted that a certain look on his mother’s face ultimately made him yank himself from the grip of drink and drugs.
In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, Robson told how a spiral into addiction grew as work took over and he lost his sense of self, along with his connection with home and his mining family in the North East.

Speaking more candidly than ever about that time, Robson recalled he was “haemorrhaging inside”, despite all his success, adding: “When you smell of drink and you look like a drunk it’s not nice, and there was just a certain look on my mother’s face that made me actually change.”
He recovered and has continued to enjoy a more balanced success.
