You may think that working in changing rooms in a popular high street store would be fun. You'd get to see all the latest releases as customers tried them on, and you'd get to have a little chit-chat with the customers to get the time to pass faster.

But there are also downsides to the job, as one woman shared with her followers, saying that some incidents from her stint at Primark 'still haunt her' to this day. Georgia Pontin, who posts on TikTok as @pontasaurus, explained the troubling scenario she found herself in when she was minding her own business and doing her job.

She explained that she worked in the bra section, and one day had to take the bra from the fitting room.

Georgia said: "I did my usual and grabbed a chunk of bras from the fitting room and started putting them out. As I was walking round, I smelled something really, really bad.

"It smelled like stale cigarettes and I was getting worried because I knew someone would complain about me not doing my job properly. I reached for one of the bras in my hand, which I had never seen before, then it clicked and I realised that this was the source of the smell.

"Someone had gone into the fitting rooms and switched their own bra out with one of Primark's."

Georgia then warned shoppers to 'always wash your clothes because you don't know whether they're from Primark or not', but did state that shoppers needn't worry too much because shops can't physically sell items that don't belong to them.

She also revealed in the comments that this story wasn't a one-off, claiming a 'shocking amount of people' did the same thing. Another retail worker in the comments section also claimed that the same thing would happen 'all the time' when she worked at M&S, with some even "walking out in shoes."

Others shared their horror stories, with one writing: "Someone pooped in our changing rooms."

Another commented: "I've seen that multiple times! I used to work in the fitting rooms in Primark."

"Who does this?!", someone questioned.
