A third said: "The wailing is fantastic, but it requires your attention and it will take your energy. It's like The Witch or something, it's hard to watch but stays with you."

One horror movie fan said: "Haven't gushed about a modern movie in a while, but The Wailing is great. A gruesome horror mystery that is not afraid to push its limits. Korean cinema just blows current American films out of the water."

It's not just Amazon Prime who are terrifying subscribers, Netflix's latest offering Fall has left fans scared out of their skin.

The movie, released originally in 2022, has recently made its way to Netflix and has already been a huge hit.

The movie takes viewers on a frightful journey with two best pals, Becky and Hunter (played by Grace Carolina Currey and Virginia Gardner, respectively).

The pair decide to climb to the top of a 2,000ft radio tower to scatter the remaining ashes of Becky's husband Dan.

What seemed to be a good idea to mark his memory - Dan died in a tragic climbing accident - of course, the storyline has other ideas and the duo's ladder breaks mid-climb.

Just to make matters even worse, the pair's bag carrying vital supplies such as water and food drops out of their reach, resulting in the perilous task to try to retrieve it.

Throughout the flick, fans are left with sweaty palms and an increased heart rate as they watch the women try to scale their way to safety.

And fans flocked to social media to let their thoughts known. One user asked: "Has anyone else watched Fall on Netflix?," before sharing their own thoughts: "Two girls climbing a f***ing great radio tower? I’m 20 minutes in and had at least 400 heart attacks already!!!"

The view was mirrored by another user who penned: "So, those of you who suggested or spoke about Fall on Netflix… yeh I’m blaming you for my high blood pressure."
