A teenager has been named as the UK’s best Lego builder.

Luke Harrison, 13, from Silloth in Cumbria beat 800 entrants into Manchester and Birmingham’s LEGOLAND Discovery Centres’ latest competition to be crowned the UK’s Mini Master Model Builder.

The schoolboy, who has been building Lego since he was just five years of age, took on 12-year-old Harry Hill.

The pair went head-to-head as they were briefed to create a build that represented their local city.

It was Luke’s incredible adaptation of Manchester’s iFly Skydiving Centre being hypothetically attacked by the mascot of Birmingham, a bull, that was crowned the winning entry.

On becoming the UK’s Mini Master Model Builder, Luke said, “It feels strange to be named as the UK Mini Master Model Builder, but also amazing at the same time. I’m really proud of how well I did in the competition and can’t believe I beat so many others to win the title.”

Luke’s winning Mini Master Model Builder UK competition entry will be available to see in LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester from Saturday 25th March.
