Three teenage girls are alleged to have tricked another teen into coming to a fake party where they then tortured her for several hours.

The girl, 13, was left looking like "her head was going to explode," her mum said as her daughter was left with a swollen face, black eyes and bruises.

The girl's mum also claims she was left with a stab wound and fractured wrist. She was allegedly burnt and stomped on while she was tied up and is reported to have had knives thrown at her and bottles broken on her.

The mum said three girls, aged 12 to 14, invited her daughter to a fake party at their home after befriending her two weeks before. She was tortured over five hours after arriving and spent a week in hospital, the mum said.

The girl's mum claims that following the horrific ordeal, she was then showered by the girls and made to clean up her own blood.

She also alleges the three threatened to kill her family, including her three-year-old brother, if she told anyone what happened.

In hiding at an Airbnb with her family, the mum told the Courier-Mail: "When I saw her (after the incident) she was trying to defend these girls saying 'they saved my life, I got jumped on the way to their house' … they guarded her so she couldn't tell the truth but I knew that something was off."

She also claims: "She got stabbed in the knee, it just missed her tendon, but she also has a fractured wrist."

Sickening footage, which the Mirror has chosen not to share, has emerged on social media, showing two of the girls cornering the teen, striking her, poking her with a knife and laughing as they insult her.

Images posted on social media and GoFundMe show the girl's injuries.

The alleged incident occurred in Tewantin, west of Noosa in Australia's Sunshine Coast on March 11.

Charges were filed by Queensland Police, who said in a statement: "Police will allege on Saturday March 11, a 13-year-old girl was invited into a home where she was subsequently prevented from leaving and filmed whilst being assaulted, taunted and cut with a knife over the period of several hours."

One 14-year-old has been charged with four counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed in company.

She was remanded in custody and is due to face Maroochydore Childrens Court again next month.

Other charges against her include:

The girl's mum set up a GoFundMe page for her daughter and $19,081 (£10,463) has so far been raised.

She claimed: "She was viciously attacked by three people over hours of time, and was placed into hospital for recovery.

"This has not only been physically traumatising, but mentally as well.

She added: "Just the affection alone has been enough to improve her mood and make her feel loved beyond measure."
