Below Deck's Captain Lee responds to show exit rumours amid health woes
Captain Lee Rosbach delighted fans as he confirmed he will not be leaving Below Deck.
Rumours have been circulating for months that the 73-year-old wouldn't return to the hit Bravo show after he was forced to bid an emotional goodbye to his crew to deal with ongoing health issues.
However, the star is now back onboard the boat and is here to stay.
Referencing the rumours, one fan took to Twitter to say: "@capthlr Please don’t stop being on Bravo. We love you so, so much."
To the delight of many, Captain Lee replied: "I haven’t retired, in spite of what’s been reported by 'sources'."

Captain Lee confirmed he won't be retiring (2019 Bravo Media, LLC)Fans were over the moon with the confirmation, as one person replied: "Couldn’t have a better morning tweet from you! No one puts @capthlr in the corner!"
Another tweeted: "Sooo very happy to hear! I was afraid my Below Deck watching would be soon ending as ur the main reason I watch. An amazing man with such a kind honest soul."
"Wonderful news! Just don’t push yourself too much, there’s no shame in stepping back. I was sad to see you beat yourself up for having to leave when you were hurt. I get it, but please remember to cut yourself some slack when needed," a third fan encouraged.
Someone else added: "I am so happy!! I don’t want you to leave Below Deck!"

Announcing his return to the show, he thanked fans for their support and kind messages.
"Ok, I'll be back next week, can't wait to get back, feels good, no, feels great. Same drill, gym in the am and to anyone I have missed, catch you on the flip side.

He also opened up about how good it was to be back filming.
Taking to Twitter, one fan shared their excitement at Captain Lee's return, writing: "Good to see you back in action Cap!"
