Manchester United are still flying the flag for English clubs in the Europa League as they bid to reach the final.

United booked their spot in the quarter-finals with a 1-0 victory at Real Betis on Thursday evening, which followed up their dominant 4-1 win in the first leg. Marcus Rashford found the back of the net in Spain just as he did against Betis at Old Trafford, where Antony, Bruno Fernandes and Wout Weghorst were also on the scoresheet.

Arsenal were fancied to join the Red Devils in the quarter-finals but suffered an agonising defeat by Sporting Lisbon in the second leg of their last-16 tie at Emirates Stadium. A 1-1 draw in north London followed an entertaining 2-2 stalemate in the Portuguese capital, and it was Sporting who prevailed in the shootout.

With a number of other European big guns still in the mix, the quarter-finals promise to be filled with crunch clashes. Here is all you need to know about the draw for the next round.

When is the Europa League quarter-final draw?

The Europa League draw will be held at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland from 1pm CET on Friday March 17.

Who's still in it?

Alongside Manchester United, there are several European heavyweights still vying for the trophy. Juventus breezed through to the last eight with a 3-0 aggregate victory over Freiburg, while Feyenoord smashed seven goals past Shakhtar Donetsk to secure a 8-2 aggregate triumph.

Elsewhere, a 1-0 defeat away at Fenerbahce did not prevent six-time winners Sevilla from progressing to the quarter-finals thanks to their 2-0 lead from the first leg.

Jose Mourinho's Roma could also be among the favourites after winning the Europa Conference League last season and followed up their 2-0 victory at Stadio Olimpico with a goalless draw at Real Sociedad to advance. German giants Bayer Leverkusen could prove a difficult team to overcome in the quarter-finals after beating Hungarian side Ferencvaros 2-0 in either leg of their last-16 tie, while Union Saint-Gilloise entertained again with a 3-0 victory over Union Berlin after a 3-3 draw in the first leg.
