Jeremy Renner shared an adorable note from his nephew as he recovers from his horror snowplough accident.

The actor, 52, was crushed by a 14,000lb snow plough outside his home in Nevada – leaving him with 30 broken bones – on New Year’s Day.

As he continues his recovery from the horror incident, which left him in intensive care and needing intense rehabilitation sessions, his loving nephew has been providing encouragement in the form of a handwritten note.

“I am very lucky because my uncle is Hawkeye (which is one of the Avengers),” Renner’s nephew wrote to him in the letter. “I am also very lucky that my uncle is alive from his accident.”

Renner captioned his post: “Love my little man. Love you, Auggie.”

Jeremy had been attempting to save his nephew before he was crushed by a 14,000lb snow plough – leaving him with 30 broken bones.

While it’s not clear if the nephew who wrote the note is the same one involved in the incident, recent details from the horror ordeal reveal that the Marvel actor was trying to stop his Pistunbully snowcat from hitting his loved one on New Year's Day in Nevada.

Reports say the vehicle's parking brake, which could have prevented the horror ordeal, was not engaged - causing it to slide sideways, rolling over Jeremy's body.

According to a redacted Nevada sheriff's office incident report, Jeremy had been using the vehicle to free his relative's truck out of the snow before the terrifying incident.

He was crushed after attempting to re-enter the runaway snowplough after worrying it was headed for his nephew.

He has now begun the long journey to recovery, sharing updates with his fans along the way.

The note comes as Jeremy’s Hollywood career was thrown into doubt today when a source reportedly claimed that acting is no longer a “priority” for the star.

The insider reportedly told the Mail Online that “although he does still love acting, Hollywood is just not a priority to him anymore”.

“Jeremy believes that he survived the accident so that he can use his platform to really create change in the world,' the insider claimed.

“He is very proud of the work that he has done, but this entire situation has really shown him that there is so much more that he could be doing to help others.”

It's thought Jeremy’s rehab could take years as he bids to get strength back in his legs. He said he is determined to do "whatever it takes" to get back to full fitness and recently uploaded a clip of him on a specially adapted exercise bike showing him trying to strengthen his legs.

In the short video, he could be seen focusing on his left leg as he pedalled away while using his hand to help him with the movement.

Last month his situation was described as a "miracle" as he wheeled himself around.
