Love Island star Faye Winter revealed the cast are secretly removed from the villa ahead of the finale.

With only a few couples left in the Cape Town villa, the remaining contestants are competing for the £50,000 cash price and we're about to find out the winners.

The 27-year-old was a finalist in the 2021 series and said the stars are taken away from the main villa first thing in the morning.

Ahead of the winter finale, Faye said: "They won't actually be in the villa on the day of the final.

"You get taken out of the villa in the morning and you sit and you obviously have hair and makeup done and stuff."

She told RadioTimes : "There'll be preparing the garden for the final."

Meanwhile, former star Amber Gill revealed the castmates in her year were given a day off to relax before the final.

"You get a day off towards the final so that they can build the villa and stuff and I just thought that was wild because you don't see any of that when you're watching it," Amber said.

"We left and then came back when it was ready."

She added: "We weren't allowed to do anything, I think because the season was so big, we weren't allowed to step foot outside of anywhere."

The four remaining couples in this series include Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins and Tom Clare and Samie Elishi.

Meanwhile, Jess and Will were booted from the South African villa on Sunday evening as viewers found out the final four couples.

The couple made a decision on how they will be continuing their romance as Jess lives in Australia.

Asked what's next for them, she said: "I’m heading to Will’s farm for the interim! I’m very excited to go there. I’ll be looking to move to London. Samie and I were going to look at apartments so we’ll see how all of that goes."

Will echoed Jessie's sentiment and revealed he'd be keen to visit Australia, too.

He said: "I think it’s very fair to say I would go to Australia. A relationship is a two-way thing. It would be unfair for me to rely on Jessie moving here 100%. Australia has always been a place I’d like to go to and travel."
