Meghan Markle went all out as she danced around at her wedding reception in 2018, according to movie star Idris Elba.

The former Suits actress married Prince Harry in front of a global audience of millions on Mary 19, 2018, with the late Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip and Harry's father, the new King Charles in attendance.

While Meghan, 41, may have been left heartbroken after her dad, Thomas Markle didn't attend and allegedly told she couldn't invite her niece, it's believed she still made the most of her big day.

Hollywood legend Idris Elba has opened up about the raucous after party and revealed what went down when the A-list crowd escaped the prying cameras and partied into the night.

Idris was asked specifically by Prince Harry, 38, to DJ at the reception held at Frogmore House.

Speaking about the lavish celebrations, Idris revealed Meghan was the one person who seemed to be enjoying it more than anybody,

He told ET Canada: "I think Meghan was the one that was really like letting it go.

"You know, she was real, she just had a lot of fun – it was her wedding, so she had the greatest time."

But while Idris may have met Harry on several occasions before the big day, he previously admitted to Ellen DeGeneres he thought Hary was joking when he asked him to DJ.

"That was an incredible experience, I was curating the music for that night, so it was a alot of pressure, but it was great, a vibe," he told the TV host.

However, he wasn't the only famous face in attendance, with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, David and Victoria Beckham, Amal and George Clooney, Sir Elton John and Joss Stone all making an appearance at the St George's Chapel.

Idris' revelation comes just hours after it was announced, Meghan and Harry had decided to style their children as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex – three years after stepping down as senior working royals.

When stepping down, the pair agreed to cease using their His/Her Royal Highness status and be known simply as Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

A spokesperson for the California-based couple said: "The children's titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became Monarch.

"This matter has been settled for some time in alignment with Buckingham Palace."

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace have also updated its website and line of succession to display the children's titles, with them having previously been listed as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.

The couple had previously announced that "Princess Lilibet" had been Christened at their Montecito home and insinuated that The King and Queen as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales had declined an invitation.
