Police are searching for three women who have all been missing since the early hours of Saturday morning.

Sophie Russon, Eve Smith, and Darcy Ross have not been seen since enjoying a Friday night out at popular haunt Muffler club in Newport, Wales, on Friday night.

Friends believe the 20-year-olds all headed to Trecco Bay in Porthcawl with two men who are also understood to be missing.

Shane Loughlin and another man, not yet named, also haven't been seen since March 4.

The worried families say none of the young woman have been active on social media since they vanished.

Their desperate relatives have shared photos of the trio online in an attempt track them down.

They were last seen at 2am on Saturday morning.

The trio left Trecco Bay to an unknown location towards the end of the night.

Ms Smith’s car is still at the venue according to her sister Lauren Doyle.

One of the family young women's members said it was out of character for them to go off the radar.

In a post on facebook Ms Doyle said: “It is known that they went to the Muffler in Maesglas and then went to Trecco Bay on Friday night but left there to an unknown location during the night.

"They were last seen at approximately 2am."

She went on: “None of them have made contact with friends or family, which is very unusual. We are all worried sick and thinking the worst.”

A relative of Mr Loughlin has also confirmed he is missing.
