Just days after the first domestic trophy was handed out, the destination of this season’s FA Cup is set to become clearer.

Manchester United lifted the Carabao Cup at Wembley last weekend, having beaten Newcastle 2-0 at Wembley. But the Red Devils’ attention quickly reverted back to the world’s oldest cup competition as they go in search of more silverware.

The draw for the quarter finals is set to be completed following the completion of the fifth-round ties being played this week. United’s top-six rivals Manchester City have already secured safe passage to the next round, while Tottenham are also looking to book their places in the last eight. Grimsby - the lowest ranked side remaining - will hope to continue their fairy-tale journey when they take on Southampton.

With no replays, and all ties being plated to a conclusion, by the time the draw gets underway, we will know every team in the hat. Here’s all you need to know ahead of the names going in the hat.

When is the draw for the FA Cup quarter finals?

With eight ties being played across Tuesday and Wednesday, the all-important draw will start after Sheffield United face Tottenham at Bramall Lane on March 1. That kicks off at 7:55pm and so should the game finish in 90 minutes, the draw could start at around 10pm.
