Dancing On Ice 2023 star Michelle Heaton was the latest celebrity on the line-up to be dropped from the show on Sunday night.

The singer confessed she was "gutted" as she and professional skating partner Lukasz Rozycki were booted off the series.

Michelle lost out after the public vote, while the judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse didn't have a say in who was sent home this time around.

While they did offer scores as usual, there was no skate-off - meaning the person with the lowest amount of votes from the public when combined with the judges' scores was sent home.

As Michelle learned her show fate, she was visibly gutted to be leaving so soon and apologised to her skating partner for their journey being "cut short".

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield confirmed the exit news, before asking Michelle about her departure.

Michelle told them: "I've loved every second of it. This man has just been amazing, I couldn't have done any of it without you."

The result featured amid a huge format shake-up for the first time ever in the series. The hosts announced it would be a little different this weekend, with no skate-off.

Normally, someone can survive another week even if they are at the bottom of the scoreboard as the skate-off often changes things.

This time, the lowest voted celebrity was out straight away with no way to redeem their performance.

It comes after John Fashanu became the first star to leave the series last weekend, as he lost the dreaded skate-off against Love Island winner against Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

As both celebrities and their professional skating partners, Brendyn Hatfield and Alexandra Schauman, performed one more time for the panel, they all agreed that John would be going home first.

John had joked seconds earlier that he knew he hadn't done enough to stay on the show, while Ekin-Su was visibly relieved to make it through after a tough first week.

She had vowed to prove herself in the skate-off, working hard after being left "upset" over the public vote the week before.

It follows the show receiving over 100 Ofcom complaints last week over the previous episode, following Ekin-Su's sexy routine and outfit.
