The world's biggest pizza, dripping with 8000lb of cheese and boasting 68,000 slices, has been created by a man still bitter that nobody turned up to his eighth birthday party.

Eric Decker teamed up with Pizza Hut to create the monster so big it took up almost 14,000 square feet.

The YouTuber, who entertains thousands as his alter-ego Airrack, helped put together the crusty creation at Los Angeles Convention Center.

It was so huge it had to be cooked in sections by a mobile broiler before being portioned off - and no, it wasn't boxed up and put on the back of a motorbike.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, it has beaten the previous biggest put together by a group of chefs in Rome more than 10 years ago.

They covered the space with 3,653 pounds of dough, 4,948 pounds of sweet marinara sauce and more than 8,800 pounds of cheese.

After, they threw on 630,496 pieces of pepperoni.

Not only did they create a bit of culinary history earlier this month, but the many, many slices that didn't get eaten have been donated to local charities so nothing went to waste.

The record-breaking grub was made to honour of Pizza Hut's “The Big New Yorker” returning to it's menu in the States.

Eric says he wanted to do it because he's still livid nobody showed up to his pizza party when he was a kid.

He tweeted: “True story: When I was 8 yrs old I threw a pizza party at a bowling alley and no one showed up.

"To get revenge, I spent the past 18 years scheming how to make the world’s largest pizza and today it happened.

"No one out-pizzas the hut."

The vlogger shared the message alongside the photo of him with the record-breaking dish.

Airrack sold tickets to attend the pizza party alongside merchandise which boasts “Everybody gets a slice.”
