Another month, another glut of new titles make their way to Xbox Game Pass this month, including surprise-drop Hi-Fi Rush.

You don't expect a big game from a major studio to get dropped onto Xbox Game Pass with zero fanfare, but during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase this week, Tango Gameworks' new rhythm brawler, Hi-Fi Rush was announced for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with the surprise news that it would be landing on Xbox Game Pass hours later.

Hi-Fi Rush sees wannabe rockstar, Chai, tear apart the corporate world one drone at a time, with players bashing in robots to the beat of the in-game music.

After a JRPG-packed month in the Xbox Game Pass January lineup, February is looking to be a more varied offering. Starting the month off with a bang (and a few days early), is the highly anticipated port of N64 classic GoldenEye 007 on Xbox Game Pass (and Nintendo Switch) which bungee jumps its way onto the service today.

On Monday, January 30, first-person robotic rogue-lite, Roboquest will let up to two players cooperatively blast their way through the ruins of an almost unrecognisable Earth.

Then, on Tuesday, January 31, anime (and beat 'em up fans, for that matter) can look forward to giving the dastardly Dio a sound kicking in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R. Also coming to Xbox Game Pass on January 31 is the console version of Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition. Originally released on PC in 2019, this HD remake is one of the best real-time strategy games of the late 90s, and it's coming to Xbox Series X|S with controller support and new tutorials.

Meanwhile, anyone who loves Monty Python should check out the hilarious medieval tactical RPG, Darkest Dungeon, that all takes place on a single piece of parchment, when it lands on Thursday, February 2. If the Lovecraftian horror of Darkest Dungeon doesn't take your fancy, you can lead the pack in arcade racer Grid Legends. which drops the same day.

Then, on February 7, you can lay down on the carpet and play the delightful Hot Wheels: Unleashed GOTY Edition. That's your lot, as far as we know, until February 21, when steampunk soviet shooter, Atomic Heart launches onto the service.
