EastEnders star Melissa Suffield's epic reply to troll's cruel weight jibe
Former EastEnders cast member Melissa Suffield has addressed criticism of her content on social media in sensational style.
The actor, 30 - who is best known for having played Lucy Beale on the BBC soap opera for around six years - posts about body confidence on her Instagram account.
This has included encouraging her fans to feel empowered and to not feel ashamed of their bodies, with her having showcased her own figure in content on the platform.
The mother-of-one further displayed her physique in her latest post, which was shared this morning. She was seen posing in some lingerie, promoting an underwear brand.
The caption of the post read: "On Wednesdays we wear pink. And go wire free". She also mentioned the brand in the post and asked her followers to tell her know their style.

And whilst the recent post has attracted compliments, one person decided to criticise her content, with them trolling the actor in the comments section on the platform.

Taking to the comments section, the person wrote in their response: "It's not clever to promote being overweight. All you are doing is encouraging laziness. Do more, eat less".
Melissa noticed the comment on her post and subsequently addressed it. She wrote in a reply earlier this morning: "It's not clever to promote being a d***, yet here you are".
Fans came to her defence following the comment, with one writing: "Ignore them. You look fantastic". Another wrote: "Melissa makes me feel better about my jiggly bits".
Melissa is best known for having been a cast member on EastEnders. She joined the BBC show as Lucy Beale in 2004, with her the third actor to have played the role.
She remained on the show for six year, bidding farewell to the role in 2010. The character was subsequently recast, before being killed off on the show a few years later in 2014.
