Jamie Redknapp in rare admission on 'perfect' wife Frida and love after divorce
Jamie Redknapp has given a rare insight into his romance with wife Frida.
The ex footballer, 49, described his relationship with the mum-of-five as "just perfect", saying how they both found each other after their divorces.
Jamie and Frida, 39, welcomed their first child together Raphael in November 2021 after getting hitched a month earlier in an intimate wedding ceremony in London.
Jamie was married to singer Louise Redknapp, 48, for almost 20 years but their relationship broke down and they divorced in 2017 following the singer's appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
The ex couple share sons Charley and Beau, while Frida had four kids before she met Jamie.

The pair cut their wedding cake (Instagram)Jamie made a rare admission about wife Frida during an appearance on The John Bishop Show, after the news of a Love Island for the older generation was mentioned.
Jamie joked: "Well if I'd not met Frida, I would have been doing that Love Island retreat you were talking about,I would have been signing up for that!"
When asked whether he struggled with woman after his divorce, guest Gabby Logan said: "I think it was your birthday [John Bishop] and we were in a very well-known bar and it was a big fashion show.

Speaking about meeting Frida, Jamie said: "One of my best friends introduced us so that made it quite easy," he said of finding his second wife. "Frida had just gone through a divorce a couple of years ago.
"He said, 'You guys are made for each other, you've got the same interests'. And yeah, thankfully she's incredible, she's a great mum, ticks every box, it's just perfect! I'm very lucky."

Mum-of-five Frida, looked gorgeous in the red two-piece as she stood on an inflatable in a swimming pool.
Captioning the snap, Jamie, 49, wrote: "Happy birthday to an incredible mum and wife @frida_redknapp. We love you so much [heart emoji]. Enjoy your day x"
Frida replied: "Thank you Love you xxx"

The perfect pic went down a storm with fans with one saying: "Love these photos! Happy birthday @frida_redknapp."
While another added: "She's a very lucky girl! It must her birthday every day!"
Speaking after her ex-husband tied the knot with Frida, Louise told Hello! Magazine : "I've felt this as a mum and, to say this in the most sort of respectful way, my boys' lives changed dramatically and then it changed again when obviously Jamie got married and had a family.
"Their life changed and I felt like I needed to be their one staple - that's just something I think a lot of mums would feel."
