Jeremy Clarkson sparked a huge controversy with his column about Meghan Markle and many now want him sacked as host of ITV's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

However, more than 20,000 people have signed a petition calling for Clarkson to stay on the show but what do you think should happen? Should he be axed from ITV?

Amazon Prime will go ahead with the already-commissioned series of The Grand Tour and Clarkson's Farm, but reportedly have no plans to work with the controversial star after next year.

Despite the backlash, the Free Speech Union have created a petition for Clarkson to remain on the programme saying his apology should be enough.

The petition on Change.org reads: "If people make mistakes and then apologise for them, we should give them the benefit of the doubt, not seek to destroy their livelihoods and turn them into social pariahs."

Clarkson says his bosses at ITV show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Amazon, who make the Farm Show and the Grand Tour, were 'incandescent' after his decision to share his disturbing thoughts with the public in December.
