Premier League player arrested during training over allegations of non-consensual sex tape creation

A Premier League star was arrested by police in the middle of a training session on suspicion of making a sex tape without consent, before being released without further action.

A Premier League footballer was arrested in the middle of training after being accused of making a sex tape without consent.

The Sun report that the player was taken into custody by police during a morning training session for six hours of questioning. They were later released with no further action being taken.

The footballer - who has remained nameless - is said to have escorted from the pitch in front of team-mates. Their colleagues initially thought that the incident was a wind-up.

A source speaking to The Sun said: “A lot of stars initially thought it was a prank when two uniformed officers strode on to the pitches during training. Everyone was in disbelief. Players were open-mouthed. No one was sure what was going on.”

A police statement read: "A man in his 20s was arrested at an address, on suspicion of voyeurism. It was determined no further action would be taken due to insufficient evidence.”

Two mobile phones were allegedly seized by police, who examined them for footage and video recordings. Police acted after a women accused the international footballer of recording their intimate relationship despite her asking him not to.

She apparently told friends that she felt ’violated’ and ’humiliated’. She said she had refused to film, or take part in a threesome.

But the star was released without any further action and was allowed to return to training on Friday ahead of an FA Cup fixture.
