Pakistan Airlines advert shows plane heading for Eiffel Tower
A graphic designer has accidentally threatened the nation of France with an advert showing a plane heading straight towards the Eiffel Tower.
Pakistan Airlines has announced they will be resuming flights from Islamabad to Paris from today with a seemingly ill-thought poster.
The advert shows a plane heading directly towards the Eiffel Tower, eerily mirroring the 9/11 attacks.
It also warns: ‘Paris, we’re coming today.’
People have been left wondering how it was approved in the first place, with some on social media assuming the designer was ‘born post-9/11’.
Shaunaksamant commented: ‘I will personally pay for y’all to get a new creative agency.’

Yara added: ‘I have absolutely no idea how this ad passed the approvals of the managers.’
One X account wrote: ‘Info or warning?’
The airline put out a similar advert in the 1970s, showing the silhouette of a plane approaching the Twin Towers.
One person commented: ‘Cool to see you have had the same designer since 1979.’
