15-year-old detained after stabbing attack at Solingen festival

Police have confirmed the arrest of a 15-year-old in connection with the stabbing attack in Solingen, but are still trying to determine the motive, including whether terrorism could be involved.

The attack resulted in the deaths of two men, aged 67 and 56, and a 56-year-old woman. Eight other individuals were injured, with four of them in serious condition.

Authorities are urging the public to avoid speculation and to provide any evidence through the official helpline rather than sharing it on social media.
