Huge container ship suddenly explodes while docked in China port in dramatic video

This is the moment a mammoth cargo ship was nearly destroyed by an exploding shipping container in one of China’s busiest ports.

Docked at the Beilun Port area of the Port of Ningbo-Zhoushan in the eastern Zhejiang province, the container burst into flames this afternoon local time.

Photographs from the scene show thick black smoke rising from the cargo hold.

No one was injured in the blast, China Central TV (CCTV), the country’s national broadcaster, reported.
