With 'Pointless' airing Friday at 5.15pm on BBC One, many people will be curious, and wondering what the trickiest questions have ever been on the show.

The whole point of the show is to give an answer that nobody else has provided - which is seriously tough. The fewer people that have given the answer you have, the better, because the aim of the game is to have a low score.

But plenty of contestants have smashed it, right up until the final, where they've been left utterly stumped by the question. But do you think you'd be able to give them a go? Why not grab your friends and family and see who can answer them.

17. The name of any act who have had a UK top 40 single with the word 'boom' in the title?
