Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen is set to return to our screens in his own spin-off series.

Reuben, 20, is best known for having appeared alongside his parents Amanda Owen, 49, and Clive Owen, 69, on the Channel 5 show, which ended in 2022. He went on to appear with his father on spin-off Beyond the Yorkshire Farm.

It's now been reported that he will front a six-part series titled Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales. According to the Express, it will follow Reuben as he tries to grow his heavy plant machinery business with his pals Tommy and Sarah. The trio are said to live in a remote village in the Yorkshire Dales.

Reuben is known for his interest in mechanics and grew up alongside his eight siblings on Ravenseat Farm where he helped out his parents on the 2000-acre farm that's located in North Yorkshire.

He taught himself to fix tractors when he was just 11 years old and since leaving school has spoken about it being a 'lifelong dream' to run his own business. Reuben used to spend his weekends and holidays fixing up second-hand bikes, hoping to save enough money to start his business when he turned 18.

Last year, he managed to set up his digging business. It's been teased that in the first episode of the upcoming reality TV show viewers will be introduced to Reuben's team after entering his second year of trading.

The Express adds that in June last year, they won a contract to restore an old fishing pond at a grand country estate in County Durham. It involved moving 6,000 tonnes of silt and the half-acre site was the biggest dig the team had attempted.

Reuben's partner Sarah helped a lot by numerous hundreds of trips into the woods on a track dumper to move the silt. Issues on the project included heavy summer rain which turned the site into 'a slurry pit'.

In 'intense scenes' from the new show, Reuben is seen trying to prevent his 14-tonne digger from being swallowed and is forced to 'think fast' and turn to a vintage bulldozer to keep the job on track. The team were later spotted celebrating on the estate.

Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales premiers on Channel 5 on March 28.
