Celebrity Big Brother's Gary Goldsmith has shared when he thinks Kate Middleton will be back in action and it's very soon.

The uncle of the future queen has given his opinion as when he thinks his niece will return to royal duties. Speaking in an interview, he has said that he thinks that Kate will appear back in the public after Easter - which is when she was scheduled to come back.

After going through abdominal surgery, Kate has remained out of the public eye for two months while she recovered. Gary's comments come after royal insiders confirmed the same time frame.

Gary appeared on Thursday's GB News with Nigel Farage after being evicted from Celebrity Big Brother. Speaking about how Kate is recovering, he said: "I think she has the best support on the planet, she has the best people looking after her.

"They [The Palace] have said we would see her at Easter and nothing has changed since that! They have been very transparent." He then went on to say that he was shocked to find out that it was Kate that edited the Mother's Day photo herself.

Gary said: "I did say when it came out the photo 'there's not a chance in hell she photoshopped them herself' and then it came out that she did!" Kate released a statement on Sunday where she took the blame for photoshopping the photo where she posed with her three children.

The Princess of Wales' statement said: "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C"

The statement came after six of the top picture agencies including the Press Association pulled the photo from their wires and libraries amid concern that the "source has manipulated the image". Gary's interview came after he was the first person to be evited from the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother.

He said he wanted to go into the show to change the public perception of his - which he said he managed to do in the five days he was in there. Gary was put up for eviction by celebrity "lodger" Sharon Osbourne, who was in the series for just a week herself.

Gary said: "I wanted to change perceptions. I'm not a celebrity really. Looking back I looked so uncomfortable in those first few days in the house but everything is down to an edit. "But it was the best thing I've ever done. It was a sneak peak at the celebrity life. They were hoping I would win that vote and not get kicked out!"

Mirror Online has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.
