Celebrity Big Brother star Colson Smith surprised several ITV viewers this week as he confirmed his age during a chat about his acting career.

Coronation Street's Craig Tinker actor Craig got emotional after being branded "boring" by housemate Levi Roots in a recent episode. On Thursday night, Colson talked of having to grow up fast due to being thrown into the spotlight at a young age.

Colson took on the role of Craig on the ITV soap in 2011, when he was around 13 years old. Colson talked of growing up quicker than other people his age, joking that could have made him boring.

But as Colson revealed he was 25 years old, several viewers seemed surprised, and had to double-take. Taking to X, viewers questioned what they had heard, not realising Colson was 25 and believing him to be older than this.

One viewer said: "COULSONS 25??" as another wrote: "I can’t believe Colson is only 25." A third fan commented: "Did not realise colson was 25," while a fourth said: "Colson is 25?!!!"

Another fan wrote: "Can’t believe Colson is only 25, he’s like the Luke Littler of #CBBUK," while a further comment read: "I just found out Colson is 25?!!!!" It comes after Colson fell out with Levi on the show, with both stars nominating each other.

Colson explained of his vote: “In a task yesterday, Levi said that he would have said that I was the most boring housemate up until we did the talent show. Which for me I think has kind of just made me question myself as a person and who I am.”

When it was Levi’s turn to nominate, he said: “I believe that Colson had misunderstood my reason for referring to him as boring. He took it too deeply. I apologised to Colson. I also had made an effort to try to heal the rift between us, but, alas, I recognise that he was not accepting my apology at all.”

He continued: “I feel that because of his unwillingness to accept my apology, it can be the only reason why I’m nominating him.” While Colson took on the nomination without showing much emotion, Levi ended up being nominated for eviction by other contestants as well.
