Teen gifted incredible £7.8K by billionaire after head smashed on road in fight
One of the world's richest men has donated 10 grand to the 15-year-old girl who endured severe brain damage after another teen slammed her head against concrete during a high school fight.
Billionaire hedge fund investor William Ackman, 57, donated $10,000(£7.8k)to a GoFundMe page created for Kaylee Gain, which has been confirmed to TheMirror.com by a spokesperson for the hedge fund, Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P. The family says the "overwhelming response" has brought them to tears and they are extremely thankful for all the donations—as Kaylee suffered serious injuries. The teen endured a skull fracture and damage to her frontal lobe when her head was repeatedly bashed against concrete during a brawl Friday.
