CBB's Louis Walsh defended by X Factor star after judge faces calls to be 'axed'

Louis Walsh has been furiously defended by an X Factor star after he faced calls to be 'removed' from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The former X Factor judge has been criticised for his comments about a number of famous faces, including his co-stars such as Fern Britton. He also fumed over fellow housemates David Potts and Bradley Riches and those outside the house didn't escape his tirades too, with him also targeting Take That and Jedward in his most recent rants.

Jonathan Ansell from G4 appeared on ITV's Lorraine today where he defended Louis for his comments, insisting he was just being "honest" and said he'd have no idea how much of a stir he was causing outside the house.

During a chat on Lorraine today, Jonathan said: "Louis has been and is the most amazing person for us. I just believe he's being honest, what's wrong with being honest and showing a bit of an opinion on behind the scenes within the industry. I don't think he's dong anything as bad as everyone is making out. He's saying what people are thinking at home. It's developing a lot of controversy and he will not be aware of how this is blowing up outside the house."

He added: "He's an honest man and that's why he's been a judge on the X Factor for so many years back in the day and that's why he's been developing such great interaction about the Celebrity Big Brother house."

Fans have been fuming by Louis' comments and took to social media to share their thoughts. One wrote: "Please remove bitter Louis pay him nothing," whilst another said: "Louis walsh is a right miserable sod. The sooner he's out the better." A third fan penned: "I think that they should replace Louis Walsh with Jedward," with a fourth adding: "LOUIS WALSH NEEDS TO GO NOW."

In her exit interview, Sharon explained her reason for not choosing to save Louis and defended his behaviour. She told the presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best: "Louis is Louis. That's Louis," and when asked what she thought about the housemates being surprised Louis wouldn't help, she said: "No way, he's got everybody doing everything for him."

Sharon also opened up about her decision to keep him at risk for eviction, adding: "I knew the public would keep him, my gut was telling me," but she said Louis was "hurt" by her not saving him and she was hopeful Fern would look after him now she has gone.
