I picked out five high street outfits inspired by Rochelle Humes' This Morning looks

During her time presenting ITV’s This Morning, Rochelle Humes has developed a distinct sense of style that is totally effortless, on trend and chic. With help from her stylist Amber Jackson, the duo have seemingly nailed the formula for her daytime television looks, so much so that I often find myself spotting pieces on the high street that I think the former Saturday’s singer would adore.

So this week, I headed out to the shops to see if I could find some outfits inspired by the mum-of-three, trying on picks under £50 at , and that emulate the star's immediately recognisable style. In fact, I’d be surprised if we don’t catch her wearing at least one of them before summer.

But what exactly was I looking for? Well firstly, the 34-year-old is no stranger to the high street, with some of her This Morning looks coming from the likes of , and Zara. Stylist Amber has previously spoken about the importance of Rochelle’s fits being affordable and accessible for viewers, which is why we often see a nice mix of affordable and investment pieces. As such, I headed to the stores I know Rochelle has worn previously, as we often see celebs wearing a rotation of the same brands on This Morning.

Here are five high street outfits I found inspired by Rochelle Humes’ style:

River Island

There were a few key elements that I was searching for when picking out each outfit, including colours, cuts and textures. Rochelle is known for her neutral colour palette on This Morning. Although she wears a lot of monochrome at home, black doesn’t pop as much on camera, so Amber often gravitates towards beiges, earthy greens and greys for the presenter.

In an , Amber revealed her secrets for dressing the star for the daytime show and said she usually looks for ‘rigid materials that don't crease’ as the presenters need to 'look the same at 12.30pm as they did at 10am’.

River Island has got plenty of neutral fits ready for Spring 2024, including a range of Rochelle-ready dresses and co-ords in a gorgeous textured fabric that’s perfect for summer styling, and more importantly, is no-iron.

First up was this , which is also available in cream. The seersucker style fabric means it will never need ironing, making it perfect for all-day wear and for packing into suitcases for your next holiday. Boasting a high neck, short sleeves and midi length, this would really compliment Rochelle’s skintone, and isn’t too dissimilar from styles we’ve seen her wear previously.

The figure-hugging dress is surprisingly slimming, and accentuates curves in a really flattering way. I can see Rochelle wearing this with her signature Bottega teardrop earrings (), and some barely-there heels.

Sticking with nude tones, This and combo is so Rochelle-coded and costs and respectively.

The , which we regularly see The Hit List host wearing, and features a comfortable elastic waistband and is lined, giving it a little more structure and less see-through. The , with ruched detailing down the front that gives it a more interesting finish.

River Island had a real abundance of outfits I could have chosen from, but my last pick was this which, while it may not necessarily be suitable for This Morning hosting duties, I can definitely see Rochelle wearing this on one of her sunny holidays or an off-duty day with a duster coat thrown over this spring.

The is really lightweight and open at the top, with three buttons that then allow the bottom of the blouse to casually fall open. The detailing on the sleeve cuff really elevates the piece, making it feel that little more special than your average plisse set.

The are in a wide leg fit with an elastic waistband, and sit so that a sliver of your midriff can be seen. And if cream isn’t for you, this outfit also comes in brown, too.

H&M

Rochelle and Amber typically opt for clean cuts and classy silhouettes, creating something of a signature look for the star, so think tailored pieces that flatter her figure, like structured waistcoats and satin skirts, one-shoulder tops and dreamy necklines with lots of ruched detailing.

At that’s almost identical to a Zara co-ord the 34-year-old wore last year on the show, with a strikingly similar neckline and silhouette. The retailer’s , coming in sizes XS to XXL, and would look perfect paired with some black slingback heels.

The at the neck that will avoid the neckline being stretched or becoming out of shape over time, while ruched detailing up the sides creates a gorgeous gather for a gently draped effect.

When Rochelle wore a similar look, she styled hers with cream coloured boots and a chunky gold hoop, which works equally as well.

New Look

While she often sticks to neutrals, Rochelle occasionally incorporates prints and patterns into her wardrobe, though they’re often subtle, like a marble or a simple stripe, but generally, she sticks to block colours in muted tones.

Recently, the businesswoman sported a cream Zara dress with ruching and marble detailing, and this definitely has a similar vibe. Priced at £27.99, the lined mesh dress is bang on trend and super comfortable to wear. The colours still feel very ‘Rochelle’ but with a moodier aesthetic, and can easily be dressed up with heels or down with sandals for a more casual look.

Out of all of the outfits, I think the H&M dress is the best match for one of her looks, but River Island seems to have the best range of choice for Roch-esque looks if you're looking to achieve her style.
